Before you start TipOut: Make sure to add yourself and your co-workers to your address book, also make sure to have photos already taken and assigned to each contact.

Before Using for the first time:
Navigate to Preference page, add yourself and set your position, all in the top tab. Then Setup the percentages earned by each position, according to the guidelines of your employer.
ie:
Barbacks 20%
Runner 15%
Busser 10%
Note: Bartenders and Waiters, you do not set your tip out percentage directly as your tip-out percentage is simply the remainder.
You also have the option to turn on the ability to post your data to PocketMoney on this page (http://tinyurl.com/dzmx5p) , a great but separate app: not owned or related to TipOut in any way, other than that we play nice together.

Normal Use:
1) From TipOuts page tap "start new"
2) Select the employes you worked with that are in your tip pool
3) Enter total cash tips and total credit tips.
4) After reviewing the breakdown and after all the tips have been handled, press save.
Your night's tips have been saved to the TipOuts page. They can be edited by simply taping any day of the week.
The hours only apply if there are more than one employee for that position. In that case it is used to divide the tips between them proportionately.
Note: The date does not change until 10am so it will always show you the date you need while doing your late night close outs!

On the history page, you can tap any day of the week to pull up that day's calculator and edit it in any way. (If you want to abandon your changes, tap the TipOuts button).
Tapping edit gives you the option to delete any date. (Deletion should be handled with care as there is no undoing it at this time).

On the staff tab you can add or remove staff, as well as set their job title.
Tapping the blue arrow gives you access to their info in your address book so you can contact them in case of scheduling conflicts.
